Another Denim Thing…

One of the numerous London finds that I never got the chance to show you yet, my bleach.

I was looking for a ‘Balmain’ Bleach pair of jeans, for months, not the destroy type but more the clean one version that I could wear everyday.

Unfortunately I still can not parade at work dressed like last month Vogue cover… if you actually don’t work with Karl himself nobody gets you...

Bon let’s go back to my bleach jeans, I found it at the marvelous TopShop HQ (Oxford Street). So far I have to say that I already wore it on several occasions (and believe me I usually don’t often wear twice the same outfit… Non not by snobbism but only coz my wardrobe is too messy and full to find anything twice).

Anyway, I’ve tried the blazer/ high heels, the gladiator sandals /white shirt or flats/Tees… which actually works pretty well!!

Thursday Casual(ties)

Another fresh-trendy look Miss Lily pulled out just for you before the week end, a special casual Thursday outfit!

It's also one way to wear some IT-pieces of the season: the boyfriend (again!), gladiator strap heels (python even better!), the nude (which, even Me color addict, i really start to appreciate) but had to spend some hours at the beach begging the UVs to look at me before even consider the nude… a perfecto cut jacket (humm maybe the Williamson for H&M one) would have been the perfect item to cloture this outfit but believe me was toooooo hot outside… yes yes guys I kinda put myself out there for you!!

And oooh again a HUGE thanks to everybody who joined my newly created FB group, for your support messages and to those who regularly read my tribulations… okay so far it's mainly my family and friends ;-) but still thank you you’re all amazing!

And oooh oh out of context but I’m sooooo proud that I have to share with you, yesterday I finally went to the gym, first time since my new year’s resolution! Pffff what it’s already May… better late than never non!!! I'm going again tonight..

Laces and Red Roses

Today’s outfit is all about accessory…Accessories that spices up an outfit.
There is no other point of wearing a black dress than taking the opportunity to wear as much bling-bling possible without (almost) any faux-pas risk!!!!

I often use one accessory as base to build a whole look.
They are the best way to sign a look, precise the details, personalize a piece to reflect your personality or mood of the day.

An outfit without any accessory is for me totally incomplete, it’s like a birthday cake without candles, tea time without cookie, Demi Moore without Ashton… simply boring!!

Careful with the whole X-mas tree look though, never look too much or total look, that’s the whole trick of it.
You can’t do everything at the same time: large belt, scarf, bracelet, ring, earrings, hair band… (Except if you’re an unconditional fan of Amy Winehouse or as talented and fearless than Karl) otherwise, us common people, we have to pick up one, give it some space, choose a theme, and highlight it. Mix & Match. For instance a very girly accessory will look much better with a casual outfit (Jeans-White Tee), more spontaneous.

For the classic one, the little piece of fabric tied around the neck or the chic pendant jewelry is always a good and safe option. Maybe a little red pair of shoes? Non? Huh okay fair enough…

Let’s go back to my outfit of the day; ever since my dear friend Marie made for me this fabulous red roses hair band; I was dying to create a whole outfit around it, and what best fabric to marry with red roses than Gothic black lace flower fabric.

Contrast of romantic and darkness…

What Else?

Ever since the sexiest actor on earth starts being the ambassador of the famous coffee brand I simply tripled my consumption of caffeine! Seriously guys how can you resist to the whole “What else” thing!! Come ‘on… I think they perfectly understand women and…men too actually.
Men subliminal message: drink it to get the charisma of Georges Clooney and women subliminal message: drink it to simply catch a men looking like Georges Clooney or even Clooney himself (he already dated a French waitress no?? so everything is possible)… told you brilliant!!

So when I heard that Nespresso was opening a showroom in Dubai Mall, a ‘showroom’ I’m telling you not a shop selling coffee machine, please don’t embarrass me … I couldn’t help but go down to Dubai 'gigantesque' Mall to (see if I could steal a large GC poster) try the latest coffee flavor and boutique chic design.

Well it’s not the most luxurious Nespresso boutique I’ve seen but still for a shop selling coffee not bad… I loved the little plexi medallion chairs display and the bright lighting (the other boutiques are usually very dark).

Ok apparently they don’t give away posters for free neither invite you for a week end with Georges in LA if you buy all the capsules and machines available in the boutique (I have asked) but they nicely offer you to taste their different espresso’s flavors, so for all coffee amateur here you go!
