Perfect example here with the house of Dior and the gigantic event that took place last week at the occasion ot the boutique opening in Plaza 66 , the Cruise 2011 presentation, the launch of the 3rd opus of Lady Dior campaign and an exhibition tribute to the Dior Haute Couture. When I say hot spot I mean it!!

Don't even know where to start... ok the 'commercial' movie, director by David Lynch starring the french actress Marion Cotillard and her chinese lover. After Paris and New-York, here she is in Shanghai falling in love (rather quickly) and sporting the new Lady Dior Blue (limited edition exclusively for Shanghai). I won't say more you need to watch the movie

The Cruise 2011 collection
Don't get mislead by the very 'Brigitte Bardot' look of the models, non non you're not in St Tropez or Cannes but in Shanghai for the Dior Cruise 2011 collection. The french and elegant allure are in celebration, inspired by the French cinema movement Nouvelle Vague of the 50's; shades of pink, lilac, pastels was the predominant colors. A true romance a la francaise...

Yesterday very casual outifit to go to the movies - a few pics taken on my way to the screening room. I think Dubai Mall cinemas have the best caramel pop corn in town!!! Love them...

Friday i pampered myself with a hair cut and facial @The Loft (Dubai Mall), feels good!
The news is that I'm all brunette again no more highlights for me (they completely turn out yellow/orange-ish under the sun... beurk..)

Oh my, I love your shoes!!

Every time i wear those shoes i get the same enthusiastic reactions. It makes me wonder why i don't wear them enough but i guess they have to remain special... They are the results of a hunt at Harvey Nichols during a -40% off day.

Talking about heels, i recently came accross Butter Hot Shoes a fantastic local blog about shoes where readers post pics of they fave pairs - I just loved it well done!

After a long hunt accross town to find fashionistas most wanted lipstick of the moment - the Rouge Coco number 5 'Mademoiselle' .
The one featured in the advertising campaign with french actress Vanessa Paradis. Humm maybe that's why it got sold out pretty much everywhere since the launch last month, and maybe that's why it's my fav too (im such a marketing victim!!!)...

Okay i love the 5 but seriously all colors are gorgeous.

I'm not going to write forever about this, the only thing i'm gonna tell you here is: you have got to try it!!!!!
Well don't get disappointed it doesn't miraculously make your lips look like a heart shape like Vanessa but the moisturized texture is unbelievable.
