I seriously love the freshness, the humility and the joy that communicate a young fashion designer. They made me (re)believe on the fundamental of fashion.
And Zeina Sultani is the perfect example; designer of Ines, line of clothing and ballerinas, she truly is an inspiration. I recently attended the launch of her summer 2010 collection @The Empty Quarter gallery in DIFC and finally got to meet her - she is a breath of fresh air...
I was seduced by her romantic, pure feminity, sensuality, Parisian elegance style – very Sofia Coppola's Virgin Suicides of kind of thing – It is all about simplicity (white t-shirt + short + flats Combo) in refined material (silk cotton. Dominated by pure white and pastels colors (hot this spring), with her signature bows that delicately stamped each one of her designs. One word: Charming.
It was French Riviera at the Empty Quarter, a particular attention to details; bouquet of lavender, sand, shellfish all over the gallery and even Truffaut’s masterpiece movie Jules & Jim projected on the background. Very charming.
Love the blouse and summer dresses!!!
